Sorry I have not posted in a while, I’ve been very busy with school and work. This past week I have had a total of three tests, I thought Senior year was supposed to be a breeze? Oh well. It hasn’t been too bad. So as most football fans know a hot topic in the NFL is the replacement officials. I know that these officials are trying their best but at some point it’s time to pay the real ones. I know they already make enough money (somewhere in the neighborhood of 80,000 a season). Yes I know its only 16 weeks and its one day a week. Anyway I personally think they should bring in the real refs because I fear for the safety of the replacement officials. Last night was a boiling point as the final call directly awarded the Seahawks a win. Also it is estimated that it 150 million dollars changed hands as a result of the Packers losing. Before that play the Packers were up 5 which comfortably covered the 3.5 point spread. Think of all the people who are upset at the officials. Green Bay and Wisconsin, Packers fans, sports enthusiasts, gamblers. NFL step up and pay the officials!
