Hello everyone we have made it to Puerto Rico! It was about a 3 hour flight from Raleigh to San Juan on our chartered flight courtesy of JetBlue. We stepped off the plane and I immediately felt like I had time traveled back to North Carolina in July. It was hot and very humid. Quite the contrast from the cold, rainy day back in Raleigh.
Anyway we or should I say the managers unloaded the plane and loaded the bus (I haven’t sweated like that in awhile) and began our journey to the Conrad Hotel in San Juan. We arrived at our hotel and it is top notch. Rooms are nice and roomy with a decent view. Kinda crowded though with all the teams that are competing in the tournament staying here as well.
I will close for now as it is 12:15am local time. We have a 10 o’clock wake up and a practice that follows. Check back for more updates. Until then have a great night!
