The return

Hello everyone. I have taken a year hiatus from posting. I vow to do better. Recently life has been going well. Since the last time I posted lots of things have changed. I have graduated from North Carolina State University in May with a B.S in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

I finished up my degree and immediately began searching for employment. I was lucky to find a job working with SouthTech Orthopedics here in Raleigh. I’ve been working logistics and sales support since July. In case you are wondering at SouthTech we are an Arthrex supplier. We carry over 40,000 products ranging from screws, plates, and even human tissue. We strive to provide the very best products to local orthopedic surgeons to help people enjoy basic life functions such as walking or running.

In addition to working at SouthTech I am getting my life insurance license and financial advising license. I really want this to be my long term answer to employment. I enjoy helping people meet their financial goals and gain financial freedom earlier in life. I recently passed my online portion of pre-licensing and am in the process of scheduling my exam. I really want to work on my own business and meet my needs on my own terms. I enjoy where I work at and have great co-workers but I would like to have the freedom to go when I want to. Feel free to ask me how you can start investing for a brighter future. It’s never to late or early to start. Seriously compounding interest is crazy.

I am still staying in touch with the NC State basketball team. They seem to be doing really well. The team seems to be putting the team first over personal glory. This is so important. To quote jimmy v ” it’s amazing what can be accomplished when no one worries about who gets credit” yeah I paraphrased.

Also I have become much more interested in learning new things and getting out of my comfort zone. For example much to my dad’s misunderstanding I have taking up Yoga. I really enjoy the practice of controlling ones thoughts and staying in the moment. I need to work on staying in the moment. I sometimes tend to get caught up in chasing goals I forget to enjoy the journey. I am working on it.

That kinda sums up what’s been going on. But as always give me feedback. If there is anything you want to know just ask. I am committed to doing better and writing my thoughts and opinions. Hope y’all enjoy!

Tyler
